Terms & refunds

Plans and the free trial

• Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial with full access. No card is needed.
• After the trial, the homes you own become read-only until you choose a plan: everything stays visible, reminders keep coming, but nothing can be changed.
• Plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app before you pay, and payments are processed by Stripe.
• Your plan covers every home you own, including the people you share them with.

Cancelling

• You can cancel a subscription at any time from Account → Manage subscription. It won't renew, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Buying lifetime access while subscribed ends the subscription straight away. The unused part of the subscription isn't refunded.
• Deleting your account cancels any subscription.

Refunds

If a charge was a mistake or the app didn't work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it in full. After 14 days, payments aren't refunded, except where the law requires it. A refunded lifetime purchase ends lifetime access.

Using the app

• Keep your sign-in secure and only share homes with people you trust: members can see and change a home's contents.
• Don't use the app to store unlawful content, or try to access other people's data or disrupt the service.
• You own what you put in the app. We only use it to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

The service

Homestead Acres helps you remember maintenance; it isn't professional advice, and reminders can be delayed or missed (for example, if notifications are off on a device). The app is provided "as is" without warranties, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before a claim.

We may update the app and these terms. Significant changes will be posted here with a new date.
